Packing the floor lamp

Now start the packing process. Open the floor lamp into small pieces. First of all, remove the lampshade and keep it on the side carefully. Next, remove the bulbs and keep them in such a way that they may not fall with a little touch of your hand.

Now open the lamp into small pieces. Wrap each part of the lamp with bubble wrap or foam wrap and fix the last end of the wrap with scotch tape.

After this, take a packing carton and keep a piece of thermocol sheet on its bottom and sides. Place the wrapped pieces in the floor lamp into the carton and cover with a thermocol sheet. Seal the carton with scotch tape. Now it’s ready to move.

On the other hand, if the floor lamp cannot be divided into small pieces, then what would you do? Don’t worry; I have a solution for this situation. In this situation, you need a carton that is big enough to place a floor lamp with a thermocol sheet easily.

Wrap the while lamp and keep it in the packing carton with a thermocol sheet on all of its sides.

Packing light bulbs

Packing and moving light bulbs is a process that requires extreme care and caution. For this purpose, you need the following material.

  • Thermocol sheet
  • Caution tag
  • Scotch tape

First of all, wrap each bulb with bubble wrap or foam wrap separately and properly. Now keep the bulbs in such a packing carton that bulbs may not bump each other. If you didn’t find such a carton, then keep the thermocol sheet among the bulbs and fix the bulbs in the box. Keep the thermocol sheet on the top and bottom sides also. Now seal the box with scotch tape.

Put a caution tag on the carton.

Now bulbs are ready to move.

Packing lampshades

You have opened the floor lamp into pieces and packed the lamp and its bulbs. Now you have to pack the lampshades.

You need the same material as used in packing bulbs and floor lamps.

First of all, wrap the lampshade with bubble wrap or foam wrap. Then, fix the wrap end with scotch tape. If there is more than one lampshade, take the biggest lampshade and put the comparatively small in it. Don’t forget to keep a piece of bubble wrap or foam wrap between the lampshades.

Wrap all lampshades properly and put them in a packing carton.

Seal the carton with scotch tape. Put a caution tag on the carton.

Now lampshades are ready to move packing.

Table lamp

To pack a table lamp, the following steps are required.

  • Plug out the lamp
  • Separate the lampshades and bulbs
  • Roll the wire and bind it with a twist tie.

Now wrap the lamp with bulb wrap or foam wrap. Wrap it completely and carefully. Finally, fix the wrap end with scotch tape.

Take a packing carton. Put the thermocol sheet at the bottom of the packing carton. Next, put the lamp in the carton. Secure all four sides of it with a thermocol sheet. And place one piece of thermocol sheet on the top of the lamp also.

Seal the top of the carton with scotch tape. Put a caution tag on the carton. Pack the lampshade and bulbs separately.

Now the table lamp is ready to move.

Packing a chandelier

Packing a chandelier requires extreme care. It requires the following steps. First, remove the chandelier from the ceiling carefully. Next, remove all the bulbs carefully and wrap each with bubble wrap or foam wrap separately.

Put all the bulbs in a packing carton carefully, as mentioned in the packing of bulbs. Now open the small parts of the chandelier carefully and wrap each of them separately. Now put all wrapped parts in a packing carton and secure the top and bottom with a thermocol sheet. Seal the top of the carton with scotch tape. Put a list of the material packed in the carton on it. Place a caution tag also.

Now fold the electric wire, tie it with a twist tie and wrap it.

Now take a packing carton of size; the chandelier with thermocol sheets on all sides could be placed in it. Keep the chandelier in the box very carefully and seal the box with scotch tape.

You can also tie the box with rope. It will provide strength to the box also. Finally, put the caution tag on the carton.

Now it’s ready to move.
